WHERE
SHOULD
WE GO?

This is the most common question I get asked. And it’s different for everyone depending on what type of night you’re trying to have! Are you throwing a birthday party, having a first date, celebrating your anniversary, or just want somewhere to have a chill night?

Hopefully this list will help you decipher what types of places to hit on your night out!

Weeknight cocktail:

I’m trying to have a great weeknight cocktail without the pomp and circumstance.

There are so many options for an average, nice night out - so there is no right combination. However, if I were to put one together for my friends and I, this is where I’d love to go:

Downtown detroit

The Whisky Parlor
Takoi
Motor City Wine

Royal Oak

Iron Horse
The Morrie
Goodnight Gracie’s
Motor City Gas

Ferndale

Imperial
Traverse City Whisky Co.

hamtramck

Bumbo’s

Low key, low maintenance:

I know it’s only Tuesday, but I need a beer where wearing sweats in public is ok...

Sometimes you want to go out but don’t want to put on a full face of makeup after you’ve already showered from the gym. So where can you go that’s a chill neighborhood bar where you can pretend like you’re sitting on your own couch.

Ferndale

Danny’s
New Way
Tony’s
Livernois Tap

royal oak

Rock on Third
Gusoline Alley

detroit neighborhoods

McShane’s - Corktown
Queens - Downtown
3rd Street Bar - Midtown
Bronx Bar - Midtown

Classy night out:

I’m up for just one more, but want to keep it classy to end the night?

Usually after a classy bar, I like to go to a dive bar all dolled up, but if you’d rather keep the act up and celebrate with more amazing craft cocktails, there are a plethora to choose from!

Detroit

Candy Bar
Bad Luck Bar
Wright and Co.
The Royce
Prime & Proper
Selden Standard
Sugar House
Kiesling

Ferndale

The Oakland
Otus Supply
Valentine Distilling Cocktail Lounge

Royal Oak

Ronin
Johnny’s
D'Amato's
The Morrie

Show off your city:

My friend is in from out of town and I want to take them to unique spots that will give them stories for back home.

I love showing my friends all around to all kinds of bars, going to different types of bars in one night is my favorite! I would recommend just picking your favorite bars because that’s where you like to hangout, but here are some spots that have a unique Detroit touch.

DETROIT

Two James
Eastern Market Brewing
Second Best
Detroit City Distillery

FERNDALE

Urbanrest
Detroit Axe
Imperial

ROYAL OAK

Rock on Third
Ale Mary’s
Motor City Gas
